Spring is finally here! For us in Skagit County, Washington that means the daffodils are blooming, and the tulips aren't far behind! I've been trying to pull myself out of 2024's winter depression for over a year now, as it turns out, I don't think I'm going to get the great news I've been waiting for to really turn things around. So, I'm reminding myself that joy is an act of resistance, and perhaps I can bring a bit of joy
to anyone else too!
Last year, so many of you loved my reverse tariff sale-- and somehow, here we are again? After the Supreme Court ruled the tariffs unconstitutional, I naïvely thought maybe we were done playing economic ping-pong. Instead, costs all around are up, spending is weird, and the economy seems to be doing that thing where it's generally just horrifying.
Are you wondering how small business owners are supposed to plan anything under these conditions? Because, same. I would also love to know. But here’s what I do know: I will keep making beautiful, thoughtfully crafted products. I will keep pricing as fair as possible. And maybe most importantly, I will keep showing up, even when the headlines make me want to throw my phone into the channel.
So, in the spirit of consistency (because the economy certainly isn’t providing any), we’re bringing back an unexpected spring sale! Now through Sunday March 22nd, enjoy 25% off all online purchases with the code UNHINGED at checkout.
If you’ve been meaning to restock, try something new, or just support a small business navigating economic whiplash in real time, this is a good moment. I’m also fully using this opportunity to train some really wonderful people how to pack & ship your orders, so keep ‘em coming!
Thank you, truly. I’m still just a small, woman-owned business doing my best to keep things steady despite the shaky ground under my feet.
With gratitude (and a nervous laugh),
Robyn Bradley Founder & CEO
p.s. Mark your calendars for mid May! We are working on some pretty major spring cleaning over here to make room for some very exciting new things! We're filling up all sorts of random packaging with limited edition products and will need you to help take them off our hands.
